Perfect, at peak, wonderful expression of Cabernet Franc, would easily pass as a top-notch St-Emilion or Pomerol, spices, red fruit, forest floor, perfectly integrated oak, has a "wild" touch perfectly mirrored in Le Gavroche's famous Lièvre à la Royale.

Bright ruby red with purple tinge, wide paler purplish rim, quite some legs. Fresh leafy raspberry and leather nose - typical cabernet franc. Light bodied but full flavour of woodsmoke and fresh plums, with a hint of clove and bitterness; quite long finish with good fruit and not too much bitterness.
