Restaurant La Lune, Beaune. Joli vin de douce extraction, épicé, avec un petit creux en milieu de bouche, une belle finale fine et subtile. C'est délicieux, il ne lui manque qu'un peu de fond. 89 pts

Decent wine from a tough vintage. Aromas of cherries, slate and a tinge of earth. Medium weight fruits on the palate with a firm acid spine. Needs about 2-3 years to develop and round out a little.

Deep red, with a lovely glow. A little oak on the nose, nothing sinister, with a good balance of bright red juicy fruit - raspberries, wild strawberries and red kiwi and some minerals and acid. The nose was really seductive and floral, like a good Chambolle village. Good firm palate, nice tension and silken tannins. The red and blue fruits were very pronounced and vibrant. A little wood and touch of sweetness at the end, but a decently lengthy finish. A very good village.
