From wine list at Gramercy Tavern (NYC). Pnp - we were in the mood for a nice burgundy that wouldn't totally break the bank tonight and this filled the bill. Red fruits, earthy, minerals - light on the palate with a medium finish. It really evolved as we paired it with different foods. Went best with the cheese plate at the end of the meal.

Solid not wimpy but very dry, savoury.
Wouldn’t pick it as Volnay.

Still a bit closed - needs more time - beetroot on the nose with some spices but seems a bit shut down at present.
