  • Very nice showing.
Nose full of sweet ripe red fruit and black pepper.
Medium to full bodied with ripe tannins full flavor and good finish.
Could pass for an excellent Crozes Hermitages from a top grower
    and a warm vintage.

  • Dark ruby. Rhone-like nose but slightly riper, with spice, florality and berry fruit. Medium-bodied with noticeable sucrosity, velvety tannins and perfect balance. Med-long, spicy aftertaste.

  • Very tight and restrained initially, especially on the nose, in contrast to the ultra-expressive Montes Outer Limits CGM 2012, alongside which it was drank. Initially it displayed funky reductive aromas that faded away after aeration. After this it was clean but very restrained on the nose. On the palate however, it is silky-textured and much more enjoyable with freshness and balance. Med-long aftertaste. Still almost half of the bottle is left so I will revisit and check if it has opened up. After 2 days in the refrigerator this changed completely. Now the nose is quite expressive and elegant with floral aromas of violets alongside red and darker berries, spice box and herbs. On the palate it remains silky-textured, balanced and extremely food-friendly. Keep for another 2 years and drink after serious aeration.

  • out for tasting (Oinoscent): (freshly opened bottle)
    Clear, pale red color.
Clean, medium intensity, complex with red currant and pomegranate, evident malolactic notes, light nutmeg and cinnamon, leather and youthful.
The wine is dry, medium+ body and intensity, the alcohol is medium+ (14%) and the acidity is medium. The tannins are medium and round, flavors start with redcurrant, some spicy notes with cured meat, minor alcohol burn, balanced overall, red cherries and pomegranate again after a while, delicated and medium finish.,
Very good quality, beautiful and exotic charm in it, to drink now but can also hold. I might need a few bottles for the cellar...
