I persist in liking this wine. Velvety texture, cherry tinged fruit, earthy with the bitterness on the finish less in evidence than on the bottle about a year ago. Good+.

This is good stuff. Wild, brambly, earthy. Remarkable minerality on a persistent finish. Bright red fruit in the mouth but wild red fruit - back woods stuff. Great bargain at its price. I would put this on any table without hesitation. We drank it with grilled burgers and it was near perfect.

I liked this even better than the August bottle; more velvety texture and less bitterness apparent on the finish. Although it has an individualistic character, I can't understand why my kids, whose tastes I helped to form, didn't like it.

This is full of dark fruit, spice and aromatics of an original kind specific to the grape variety, Négrette. At this stage there is less velvety texture and livelier acidity, for which Négrette is not famous, than on the '12 together with the usual attractive bitterness on the finish. Good and full of personality.
PS: This wine's personality does not please everyone. Both my son and daughter found it too bitter.

As bottle 9 months ago, velvety texture, cherry tinged fruit, earthy and typically slightly bitter finish. Good+.
