A convincing demonstration that the grapes traditionally used to make Portuguese Port can also make a fine dry red wine. Features refreshing acidity, firmly drying tannin, and the ability to last and improve 14 years old. The texture is smooth without being lush or caressing. The primary fruit is a briary blackberry, but fruit is not central in this wine. Right now the wine has a saddle leather component but shows signs of heading closer toward glove leather with more age.

Still very good. Might even have a few good years in it. Full bodied. Great mouth feel and long finish. Tannins smooth

It had a very nice nose, very balance and the tannins were very smooth. It was drinking really well. It had a nice fruity-ness to it.

The wine looks Garnet colored. Tannins, "green willow" full mid palate, paired well with wild vension chops. flat at the end.. drink up
