Beight red. No bricking. This was fabolous, tertiary and pretty well Balanced. Rather light bodied with high acidity. Matched the porcini tagliatelle super well. Earth bacon and a slight hint of pepper. Drink soonish

Enticing and spice nose with plenty of black cherry, cassis, olive tapenade, and earth. Similar flavors, slightly disjointed, all quite big while also still firm. Good now. Probably would have merited an hour or two in a decanter.

Deep red with some brownish rim. After 30 mins in the decanter not a lot happening. Unbalanced. Some herbs, thyme and olives. After 2 hrs.. beautiful, smooth, nice acidity. Still a couple of years left. red fruits, a hint of choclate. Peak.

Short decant before drinking. Beautiful perfumed nose. On the palate, strong green peppers/olives with little fruit. Long finish. Didn't seem that balanced.

Now fully mature. Classic Cote Rotie, sauvage, bacon fat, sous bois, and nice red fruits. Mellowed with age but nice interesting wine. Hint of gravy as it opens out in decanter and glass.
