Felton Road Dinner (The Wine Society Stevenage): First of the rieslings tasted this evening. Unmistakable petrol aromas. I have never had such a pronounced petrol whiff. Laser like palate and acidity. Very focused but the Bannockburn was the winner for me in this flight.

Pear and hints of Kero on the nose then Lime, Pear, Orange Peel and spice, acid is restrained and sherbet like with a long lingering finish. Really lovely drinking now and no rush at all.

Thought it may be too young but was going try over several days.
Colour- pale light straw, Nose- citrus (grapefruit?), stonie mineral, if stoic, Palate: floral, tannin, a bit of petrol, then mid-range is floral bouquet(apple flower?), and finish is muscat, mid-after taste. The body is light/medium. The wine has polished texture.
Gassed with Algon so may improve Day 2?

Light, pale yellow in colour. Apple-y aroma, very slight lemongrass on the palate. Decent but not exciting
