Garnet color perfumed red berries with baking spices. Palate is aged with good fruit nice acidity and smooth tannins. Finishes medium. Very nice rendition.

Decanted and poured. Last wine of the night and my favorite of the three Napa cabs ('04 Bond Pluribus, '01 Chappellet Pritchard Hill). This is very balanced, dark fruits and earth, tobacco and lively acids. Tannins are beginning to soften, but this still has a long way to go. I imagine it will be a beauty in 2030.

decanted at 2pm for dinner... this was the WOTN (and there was much fine wine to compete with)... enjoyed by all and beat out the 2nd Salvioni BdM pretty easily... red and purple fruit, nice sweetness and hints of spice / umami... pretty full bodied but had an elegant mouthfeel (not a touch of heaviness)... lovely

Pnp'ed and prob could have used a decant as it was still evolving in our glass, but was delicious from first sip to last. Darker fruits, bits of leather, a hotter (I think - at least that's how it drank) so the fruit was perhaps a bit more pronounced than some of the other Lokoyas. Clearly delicious - shared with a few less wine oriented folks at the table and they were all quick to recognize this was better than what they normally drink. Didn't remember that we had a bottle, but now I'm very much looking forward to it!
