I really like the style of this Syrah. It is elegant and restrained but lacks no depth or flavour. There are bright, brambly fruits on the nose along with notes of violets, wild herbs and spice. The fruit is juicy in the mouth and there are some darker elements reminiscent of licorice and blood plum. It finishes fresh with good cut and leaves a pleasant perfume on the palate once swallowed.

The color is clear med ruby. The nose is clean, med intenstity, red currant and cherry, prunes, violet, cinnamon and nutmeg, ethereal and very feminine nose. The wine is dry, body and intensity are medium, very fresh, round tannins, balanced, rather thinned in the midpalate compared to Jewelstone Syrah, quite easy, can't understand why this goes placed last in the Syrah range, med finish. Very good quality.
