A Biodynamic Bonanza (P&V wine & liquor, Enmore Road, Newtown): Perfumed green and black peppercorns, black berry and a little liquorice on the nose. Juicy to the point of almost sourness, jubey, long, tannins are floury but the fruit persists. Rather pleasant.

Not impressed on opening, partly it feels a little youthfully unknit, but also with some woody bitterness that is a little too much for the relatively light body. Tannins also quite grippy vs. fruit depth.
Definitely one to give a few years to see if it comes together. I do think it will improve, but difficult to visualise where it will end up.

Negociants Australia Portfolio Tasting 2017: Peppery spice, violets, blackberry - a nice mix of the different elements. Good mouthfeel, with more black fruits and tannins supporting well. Very solid showing.

Nose: cracked black pepper, cassis and juniper. Palate: quite strong black pepper, spicy but overwhelms fruit.
