The nose is much more explosive and tannins nicely integrated while the sour cherry flavors, chalky minerals, and lip-smacking, extremely brisk acidity cause much slurping during dinner.   It's a very translucent ruby in the glass. Nose is rich but tart cherry with a hint of earthiness, and lifting floral note - I always think of Irises - not a flower noted for their scent (I don't think - I'm not a big flower guy) but it has a green, fresh vivacious quality that I find in these wines a lot. In the mouth it's lively, pure and uplifting in its delivery of a complex mix of cherry fruit and acid. Lip-smacking finish. This is one of those wines that refreshes and envigorates. Great stuff.
