  • Nose of blue fruit, haribo gummi bear. Ripe and soft palate with good mid mouth palate but too fruity and aromatically simple.

  • At home. Pop and poured.
Appearance is clear, medium intensity, ruby colour with browning at the rim. Legs.
Nose is clean, medium intensity, with aromas of dried leaves, forest floor earth, floral spices, red berry fruit, bits of meat. Developed.
On the palate, dry, high acidity, medium alcohol (13%), structured medium+ tannins, medium+ body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of savoury forest floor earth, spices, brambly and tart red berries, black cherries. Strangely long leathery tart finish. Floral rose perfume on the nose and some granitic minerality on the palate after 45mins of air.
Very good quality. Could pass off as a good Bourgogne. More tannic than expected for Bojo, well but this is cru Morgon. Time to drink up and enjoy while fruit still present.
Old vines from very steep vineyards in Morgon. Only large neutral oak barrels used for ageing.
