  Taken right off the rack, no decanting, so a little sediment...
  Cork in good shape, about 2/3 soaked through.
  Nice hue for 30 year old Burgundy, some ambering along the edge but perfectly appropriate.
  Nice, mature NSG aromas with spices, sous-bois, slightest hint of oak, remnants of cherry/plum. Just enough tannin to keep everything together, soft texture, rich mouthfeel and great length.
  Probably the perfect time to drink this wine.
