A glorious, multi-faceted nose that puts a smile on your face; saline, sweet. There is real freshness and balance to this, weight and litheness. A wine full of fascinating contrasts. Immortal.

Frankly tastes a lot older than a solera wine of similar age, which I think is strange. There's some sharpness and alcohol here, but barely, and it works, it's authentic and it catches your attention, a rugged wine, but one of great finesse. Dried fruits, hazelnut, old oak, dusty. Powerful and long with a glycerine finish.
