Super enjoyable. This was a weekday PnP with some Italian take-out (carbonara pasta w/mushrooms). Paired very nicely, and before I knew it, we finished the entire bottle. Smooth and lovely. Drink now.

Mushroom and berries with earthiness. Enjoyed it after 2 1/2 hrs decant with left over seared duck breast followed by a thin crust salami / mushroom pizza.

Tasted two years after the first bottle I tried. Almost translucent ruby in color. Pronounced nose. Earth, mushrooms, tobacco, sour cherries. Initial Funky wer cloth smell that dissipates after a few minutes. High acid, med-high tannins, repeats the nose. Fantastic with chicken parm.
