  Colour: Dark purple / black with a crimson edge.
  Nose: Blackcurrant and menthol.
  Palette: Black currant, menthol, white pepper, dark cherry, milk chocolate, blackberry and nutmeg.
  Medium bodied, quite rich and spicy with a fairly long finish.
  Very varietal.
  
  Two years since the last bottle and it's still going strong.

  Such a reliable wine to pop away in the cellar for a few years, and reap the rewards of the effort. Deep crimson in colour with some age evident on the edges.
  
  Nose all ripe berryfruit and mint, and very evidently Cab Sav in the mouth, with a flavour dominated by ripe blackberry, with peppery and cinnamon notes. Progresses nicely thorough the palate, with some tobacco and vanilla notes more evident toward the end of a long finish.

  Pretty much the same notes as tasting last year.
  This time it was drunk over 2 nights.
  The good news is that it improved on the 2nd night. so it looks like it still has a few years yet to improve.

  Medium bodied, quite rich and spicy with a fairly long finish.

  Great value for money and has enough fruit and acid to make me think it'll hold up for another 5 years or so.
