Nose of essence of blackberry jam, vegemite. Mouth of licorice, plum. Very extracted and over the top with big tannins, but strangely compelling. The finish is pruney, stemmy but of good length. Was improved with a bit of chilling. This may cellar well but there's a good chance it will fall in a heap.
