  Had to filter and decant. Had a lot of sediment. Was great bouquet with cherry and other berry nose. Was ready to drink. Wouldn’t leave it much longer.

  Still fresh with blueberries and fleshy cherries at the front and a suble oak and some grippy tannins smoothed out since the early days. delicious!

  Obviously developing with time in the cellar. Allowed to breath for nearly an hour. Dark red, almost black. Loads of fruit, subtle old oak, Almost after dinner minty, light acid. Very smooth on the front and mid palate with reasonable length, exceptional value for the auction price paid. Will cellar for another 5-8 years easily.

  Nice drop, the bottle definitely opened up over the evening after two hours it was a different drop. Lovely mouth feel but the finish is a tad sharp, it will be interesting to see if this gets any better with a couple more years but I doubt i will have any left by that stage. Lets face it, its not the best thing out there but bang for buck I really enjoy this cab!
