  • Superb wine, just as good as the last time I tasted it. Really happy I still have another bottle

  • This is a great value for money and frankly, a lovely wine full stop regardless of the price bracket. As Burgundy prices have become silly, this is quite a steal.

Lovely dark cherry and marzipan nose, the body is beautifully mouth filling and there is a lovely acidity to support it. Notes of mushroom, earthiness and dark berry are very evident in body. Very fine tannin and a lovely finish.

Drink now to 4+ years (for bottles under cork).

  • Superb wine, drinking perfectly now. Has a beautiful aroma of crushed dark cherry. Beautiful fruit on the palate which has a remarkable length. Can easily last another two years but no reason to wait

  • Screwcap. Pale red colour. Spicy, earthy nose of chipotle and dried mushroom. Entry is light and ethereal. Mid-palate brings earthy flavours of mushroom, raisin, and nutmeg, with red fruit relegated to a hint in the background. Finish is slightly sour and astringent.

  • I thought it was time to review one of the best SA pinots ever produced by Crosser and Co.
Colour now is bright clear Ruby red in colour with a lovely ruby rim . still young ageing nicely , stelvin cap helps.
Wow factor is found here on opening with super ripe sweet black fruits leaping out of the glass and great balance of sweet new oak helps too. Grand Cru richness here . Super wine for certain and getting better now oak is integrating beautifully. Excellent.
On the palate we have lovely ripe sweet fruit upfront , strong mid palate richness and nice long sweet tannins giving great length and perfect with Leg Ham Dinner. Excellent and still on the way up . Great Wine here , worth checking out .
The Professor made great wine here in the Modern Way and what it's all about in this ripe fruit style. No sappyness here or green characters ok. Aust. can produce great Pinot in this difficult variety .
