Sadly, my final btl. Notes from Day 2 open. On the nose: guava, melon, nettle, lemon and loads of mineral notes. On the palate: fantastic acidity, stone, peach, guava, and a touch of leesiness. Good length on the finish. Yum!

Oops, forgot I had this in April. Drank alongside a '14 Roulot Bourg Blanc, and paired with a pasta with morel and scallion (light) cream sauce, with some seared scallops on top. This was far and away the better pairing, but it was fun to contrast the two '14s. With the cream sauce, the perceived acidity was perfect for my palate, so an excellent showing, really showcasing the minerality and citrus. Yeah it's Tuesday, but many pandemic-related restrictions were eased today here in cali. What that actually means remains to be seen...

A bit less than a year since my last btl. On the nose: peach, soft petrol and leesy notes, a touch of lemon-inflected VA. On the palate: fantastic density, but the acidity is a touch softer than I would like at first..this combines to form a creamy mid with soft lemon, chives with cream. and wet stone, acidity is more perceptible near the end with soft tang and peppery notes. Excellent length. Yum.

Seemed more energetic than my last showing, but no further evolution. See previous notes.

Pop and pour. Nothing to add to previous notes. Not as good as the Morstein, but still very yummy.
