Decanted for around 45 minutes. A really encouraging bottle one of six, and definitely ready. The sunny-but-balanced 2019 vintage's richness showed itself: despite its youth, this wine was far from screechy, and blind I might have guessed Austrian, but it came across as balanced and welcoming rather than warm or flabby. We loved the beautifully deep, concentrated yellow-green fruit and subtle supporting phenolic structure.

Drank this at a restaurant, so didn't pay close attention to it. It came across as young/reserved right now, and well-balanced. Not a bombastic wine -- at least not now. Excellent wine, but no obvious "wow factor." Best to Hold for now.

Popped yesterday. Better on Day 2 open. On the nose: lemon, nettle, guava, stone. On the palate: electric acidity, lovely density, a touch shorter than other Wittmann GGs, but good minerality and mirrors the nose. Lovely.

Very nice balance - approachable already but will improve with more years - medium long finish!
