GGs vs. 1er Cru Burgs (Bin 75 Alpharetta, GA): Pale steely yellow green; fairly subdued nose, floral, mineral but a melon and more generous edge to it, a spicy ginger back end with volcanic notes(limestone), lemon, honeysuckle, cooling quality, plainer white fruit with a long driving finish; still young but in a good spot though not very developed yet.

Dinner at Joelia with Robert (Joelia, Hilton Rotterdam): Drunk after the Keller Hubacker 2016 and this wine is less subtle, more direct and ripe fruit driven. Rich nose and palate dominated by ripe citrus, white peach and a bit of honey. Very long finish

Rich powerful wine with marvelous sweet-acid balance. White fruit, lemon, minimal spicy tones. A seductive and very good wine. 92/93
