Popped and poured. The nose is top ten ytd. Bright Red cherry and strawberry fruit coupled to spicy, sandalwood aromas. I’m guessing this has a good percentage of whole cluster fruit. The palate is deep and lively with a core of cherry fruit complemented by a silky texture and fine grained tannins on the long finish.

really impressed with how well this wine was showing. PB found it young nose- cherry, toast, iron, and an incense type of aroma mouth - juicy and long delicious red fruit with spicebox. will gain complexity with time but already stunning at tis young age

Nose: pure ripe blackcherry with a floral perfume and a touch of smokey oak. Palate: texture is gorgeous and lifted with primary fruit, red cherry and florals. Mouthfilling Grand Cru that needs time to develop. Finish: dark red cherry and berry notes with piercing acidity.
The color in the glass is magnificent with a beautiful deep red / amethyst color in the glass. This was a great opportuntiy to taste this and see it in a very early stage. I hope to revisit in 15 years.

Vosne Millésime - Noblesse des Clos Vougeot - Les Grands Jours de Bourgogne (Château du Clos de Vougeot): Tasting, brief note. Racked, bottling scheduled next week. Bright, rich red fruit shows both ripeness and elegant charm. Great textures and balance for Grand Cru this young. I like this a lot, 93-94 point potential, 2020 forward, with decades of life from there.
