12.5% abv. AP 10. Open 24 hours ago. EYE: terrific bright greenish gold color. NOSE: good intensity. It smells like quartz salt and cream, but smothering a tableau of stiff spring herbs, radish, whole lemon, and ginger. MOUTH: it's evident now, after 24 hours of air, that this vintage has emerged from its worn-acid, cocoon phase. An energetic rinse of minerals is neatly punctuated with cleansing bitterness and acidity. Active glycerin is filled with flavors of lemon seed, petrol, peach, jasmine, and tart braising roots. Bone dry, textured, and saturating. Peak drinking 2024-2034 (conservatively.)

Dominant petrol nose with a hint of reduction. A bit of ginger and citrus pith on the palate followed by some minerality in the finish. I would have liked more acidity, but still an interesting, fine Riesling

Golden yellow in the glass. Nose has a dominate petrol note followed by citrus, slate and something sweet (toffee?). On the palate though it is bone dry, silky, rich and weightless with no sweetness. The balanced but juicy finish echoes the nose and lasts almost a minute.
Great wine and wish I had purchased more. Went surprisingly well with (slightly) over spiced red lentil soup. The wine cut through the spice nicely.

Better than 1-2 years ago, with a bigger petrol note; apples and lemon, good acid. May be better yet in a couple years.

Green apple, apple. citrus, apricot? Sharp, aggressive, may need time. Not a re-buy at price
