Brown sauce, walnuts, old Bordeaux character, even a little tootsie roll; clearly showing its age and is the oldest of the 11 Turelys. Was not a fan at first, but like most older wines, you need to adjust after having 'gobs of fruit". This is pretty nice for its age, but probably just a couple years past prime. Big wine, even at 15 years old. Enough complexity and interest here, but the high alcohol was a little too much at 16.3%.
