Frederic Wildman Luxury French Tasting (Swift & Sons, Chicago IL): Tasting, brief note. Spice and floral start shows more new oak than anything else, even with the clearly ripe fruit. Clay soil here, 100% new oak elevage. Doesn't have the mineral and textural elements of the rest of the lineup.

Frederic Wildman Luxury French Tasting (Peninsula Hotel - Chicago IL): Tasting, brief note. The richest wine in the lineup, but the least elegant. Big, bold, and nicely powerful. From more clay driven soils than typical, and raised in 100% new oak.
