Revisited again, now morphing into amber rather than gold. Honey, lavender nose. Biscuit, dried apricots, raisins, syrup palate. Still drinking well and although it hasn’t improved it is still enjoyable and probably good for another 3-4 years at least

A 2023 library release along with the 2011 and 2004. A complantation of Riesling, Pinot Gris, Pinot Beurot, Muscat and Pinot Noir in the Engelgarten terroir. "Angels' Vineyard" is indeed the appropriate name for this wine's source. It is as good as any white wine I have tasted. And far more importantly -- unique. It makes clear the wisdom of Deiss to continue the complantation of these native northern grapes. The recommended keeping for 10 years is appropriate based on comparing it to the 2004. This wine is still truly vibrant, has a complexity competely its own filled with elegance and depth and length. In the 2004 these qualities are all softened by those 9 additional years and vintage differences. Extraordinaire! Außerordentlich!

Medium gold. Peaches, apricots, lavender nose. Similar palate with raisins & syrup. Still drinking well and evolving nicely. I still believe that there are 5+ years of good drinking in this wine and will be interested to see how it develops further.

Golden colour, touch of amber. Large bq w initial floral tones, then Riesling kicks in with petrol and mineral notes. Also grapefruit peel and a touch of honey. Medium+ body w Riesling acidity, fresh citrus fruit. Elegant, long complex aftertaste w minerals and some salinity. Has entered optimum drinking window, where it'll stay for 4-5 yrs. Very nice!

Full bodied rich white wine. Still good accidity level, although round and rich in the mouth. Off-dry impressions with yellow fruit, apricots, honey, papaya, mango and other exotic fruit, orange peel, mineral. Complex white wine with long lasting finish.
