Pale ruby color.Black raspberry and tart cherry provide a pleasant fruit aroma with clove, herbs (sage & thyme), red licorice and crushed gravel (dusty) finishing out the aroma profile. On the palate the tartness of the black raspberry is emphasized while a touch of clove spice comes through and the dusty gravel makes a slight appearance. Medium- tannins (leaning more towards low), medium acid with a light+ body. A round texture (leaning more towards lean). Medium- finish with a medium- complexity. A pleasant wine.

Oregon Pinot Noir (Part 2): Light ruby/bright rose color. Smells of ripe McIntosh apple, sour cherry, strawberry jam, and I get some caramel, coffee and earth. Medium tannins, tart acidity, medium-bodied with a slightly chewy presence. Ripe and juicy cherries, red apple peel, tart cherries – there’s a good amount of rose hips, white pepper and some cola and light roast coffee. Fruity but brisk, this is quite good for around $20 bucks.

Dead on the nose. Over extracted palate with no subtlety, grapey, somewhat sweet, no depth, oak dust, tannic, and short finish. Says Willamette, would have guessed Columbia Valley.
