soft ripe berry nose, not explosive but evolving (decanted 1/2 hour). seductive lush soft wine, mature and gentle. the table called it 'perfectly smooth'. good length to the finish. drink now...at its peak and wont improve from here. thoroughly enjoyable.
Wine introduction 202 (Morton's - Reston, VA): This seems to reach the peak. Attractive modern right bank nose, roasted red and black fruits, mocha, caramel, truffle and a hint of lead pencil. Warm and round, silky palate, nicely integrated tannins and a hint of oxidative note that clips the finish which worries me a bit. If you have a few more bottles, I would highly recommend to try a bottle now. Although the overall expression and the color are quite youthful, the oxidative note concerns me a bit. Still drinking really well.
from 0,75--Saint Emilion at it´s best--absolutely crowd pleaser--such a dreaming nose--too young---will last for decades--very dark colour--typical bordeaux--blackberries--tobacco--vanille--minty--cigarbox--chocolate--a very sexy wine--outstanding--WOTN--unfortunately my last bottle
Largely consistent with previous tasting notes; a bit more fruit in this bottle than I remember from previous bottles, but also a bit more unresolved tannin than I remember. In any case, still a luscious St-Emilion near its peak.
