  • Ripe red cherry fruit on the nose with herbal tones, minerals, and faint woodiness. Not massively complex, but very pleasant, bright and detailed. On the palate medium-bodied with healthy ripeness yet thoroughly savory and fresh. Very much red-fruited with an earthy touch, it has a pretty classic feel to it. The acidity is absolutely on point and gives it great vitality. A pretty unforced style here, aromatically this whispers rather than screams but performs admirably at the table. Young and restrained, if I had another bottle I would wait for five years before opening.

  • Really good balance now - good fruit, acidity and decent tannin - still totally primary at this stage. Made in quite a modern style. - Solid 90. Long life ahead.

  • This wine is still drinking young though the tannins are settling a bit the acid is still extremely bright. Lots of tart red fruit on the palate and loads of brett that settle after a little decanting. Great secondary aromas of earth and spice that will only get better in time. If I drank this in 2025 my bet is that it would be 94-95 pts...whatever that means

  • As DBKITC commented: ¨This was terrific. Lovely balance but a good punch of rustic Pinot fruit. Youngish but no harm drinking now. Great choice¨

  • (at Pollen Street Social – London) This was terrific. Lovely balance but a good punch of rustic Pinot fruit. Youngish but no harm drinking now. Great choice for a cold winter day (in May) in London. (91)
