Typical old white wine feel, with nuts, marzipan, some caramelized tropical fruit, reasonably acidity, some coffee. I more or less went to white Rioja with this, but I should have guessed Bordeaux. Good wine, but nothing truly special.

Back in NL drinks (Utrecht): [Restaurant purchase] Pop-up win bar Utregs Wijnhuis at Koenraad, small glass. Over the hill, almost only tertiary notes left. Nuts, marzipan, some oak, litter box pallets. Medium acidity, medium+ finish

Pauillac at RSJ: Pale/medium lemon. Pineapple, wax, creamy vanilla. Quite youthful still. Touch of spice on palate, balanced acidity, good length finish ***
