A bit of cedar, more feminine, not as complex as some of the other wines in the group. Rather basic finish. More of a basic wine than some of the others in the group. Tasted blind.

Baron Philippe de Rothschild wine (with food) tasting (Roberts and Speight): Bright gold with a light yellow rim. There is a notes of oak and cat urine on the nose which is quite off putting. Medium bodied, dry with fresh acidity. Perhaps lacking a little fruit on the mid-palate but otherwise it has a fair balance and a nice length. Certainly an improvement over the Cadet Blanc but still a little disappointing.

Pretty basic; thin, limited fruit. Disappointing
