PNP with a 14 Pulido-Walker cab. The Pride has a nose of floral components, and still youthful fruit. On the palate anise, well integrated tannins, front a mid plate with some softness that sill has some semi full body. The finish exhibits complexity however drops off sooner than a typical Reserve. A very good wine that I don't believe will improve with any more ageing. Back to the comparison....All agreed the PW.

2 hour slo-ox. Medium bodied, mild tannins, faint acidity, dark fruits. Enjoyed more the 2nd day likely because it was paired with red meat. Although enjoyable, I expected more based on prior bottles.

How can a 2014 still have such tight grippy tannins? Decanted sadly only a hour before dinner and through a long Christmas dinner it never opened up. Sounds like 10 years or a very long decant might make this reserve wine drinkable.
