From half bottle. It's a little disjointed on both the nose and palate; sour black fruits show blackcurrant over plum and black cherry, a little oak offers sweet spice and caramel, slightly grainy tannins. Acid feels almost adjusted. it ha a touch of pyrazine and tomato leaf but if it had more mint and/or eucalyptus I think, blind, I might mistake this for a Coonawarra wine...Hmm.

Coravin fun - St Estephe and randoms (My place, Kent Street): From Coravin and half bottle. Blackberry, plums, sweet spice, slight savoury underpin, toasty, biscuits. Juicy, more red fruited on the palate, crunchy, softly textured tannic burr, savoury spices here as well, Medium length, Rather nice.

Grand Cercle wines: Mainly 2015 just bottled (Chateau de Pressac Saint Emilion): Polished nose, albeit with some noticeable oak. The palate is robust.
