(Camigliano Brunello di Montalcino) #2; COLOR-medium to dark; NOSE-sliced plums in heavy cream (from the oak -- a little too much oak for me); TASTE-a rusty metallic component; loaded w/ true essence of cassis; a little bacon play as well; almost an escargot meets strawberry jam which I like; I feel it's a little flabby on the mid-palate, but this is good wine; this should last 5-7 years; if drinking now, should decant for 1 hour; WS-92; GV-90

- Brick color with slow forming legs and aromas of smokey, cedar and tea. It's in total harmony and has flavours of blackberry, black currant, fig and black pepper with a full body. Smooth texture with a long finish - Slight pencil shavings on the nose. Spicy, rich dark fruit finish.
