"90th" Joint Birthday: Honey, apricot, quince, lemon and sea spray. Fresh still on the palate, with good acid and sugar intensity. Good length and flow. Feels ready to drink at this point based on this bottle.

The 1971 Chateau Coutet ‘Cuvee Madame’ had quite a strong smell of geranium. There were also notes of apricot, honey, lavender and peach. The palate was really peachy, round and full.

Decadence II (Tetsuya's, Sydney, Australia): Almost the same golden orange in colour as the d'Yquem. Intoxicating, rich aromatic nose of botrytis, caramel, honey, marmalade, apricot, lemon and lime. Intense and complex on the palate with acid still present and tempering most of the sweetness. A very good wine, and it was fitting that we should go out on a high note after all the great wines that were shared. If anyone happens to have any of this rare wine, based on this bottle it is well and truly ready as it will ever be to drink.

Farnsburg Rarities: Out of Magnum: Beautiful sweet-acidity play, citrus, very nice length. What a beauty
