  Earth and spice on the nose with dusty red fruits. Cherry layers with a touch of watermelon with prickly acidity. Firm, long tannins with dark cherry, sour plum, orange, and twigs and forest floor. Limited notes as I was at the end of the glass but this wine exudes class.

  Spectacular. Duck breast and rosti. Sure you could hold it longer and love it. But what if you got hit by a truck? Pick a good night with your honey and savor its sophisticated, approachable, aromatic reminiscence of a young Vosne Romanee. (Caution on the last pour—a little fine sediment.) Opened 1 hour before but needed no decant.

  I only wish I had more. This was my last bottle and it was amazing. Full fruit and smooth all the way down. If you still have a few bottles no hurry, there is still a good 5 years to cellar. Cheers !!!
