What a baby. Could go longer in the cellar but had friends that love riesling so opened tonight. Beautiful gold color, nice fruit notes, some diesel, but not much yet. Absolutely delicious.

EGON MULLER tasting (Rotterdam, Netherlands): 1995 a year of great maturity and acids. Complex nose with nuances of lemon and pineapple. On the palate dry mouth-filling, with beautiful ripe yellow fruit and toasted bread. Ending with an expressive and fresh finish. Still In excellent shape and very exiting!

still green yellow color youthful green apple snap with petrol hint at the end, pretty wine, nice drink but i found it lacked a bit of weight and length

Egon Muller Dinner at The Ledbury (The Ledbury, London): Only slightly darker than the 2004 vintage... Starting to get the petrol nose. Super smooth, nicely balanced. Quite drinkable now, but will age further very nicely.

Dinner Julie Sue et al -- I was slightly disappointed here, this was one of my prize buys in Munich, it showed well but not mind blowing. Exciting at first on the nose, with the classic lemon lime pie, crushed frozen minerals and a touch of kerosene/valve grease. Verrrryyy tight and acidic on the palate, almost bone dry by now (or at least acidity so high it seemed bone dry). Still a pleasant wine, lovely sleek razor acidity and balance. I was hoping for a bit more exotic tho.
