Very classic Chassagne. Old school style. Nutty, touch of sweet fruit on start, nice smokey finish. Soft in the mid palate and acid is fading. Would drink these now. Such a contrast to the lively purity of the De Moor Rosette served alongside.

Thought this was really good. Really well balanced floral and chard-peach aromas, nice amount of oak and a touch of acidity. Silky smooth on the midpalate, good body. Finishes decently long. Ready now.

I have to say that this wine tasted quite a bit older by taste profile than I was expecting. And, it evolved quite a bit after being opened for about an hour. I suspect my personal taste for white wines is really to drink them younger!

My last half bottle and best showing. Dry, firm, complex, not buttery Chard with hint of citrus and oak on palate.
