{screwcap, 14.5%} Pale straw yellow still. Grapefruit and cashew oak nose, still quite youthful. The palate is similar, with a tanginess to the texture, emphasising the generously acidic structure. Generous citric and fleshy white fruit, not over-oaked. Medium/full weight but refined and polished. Good balance along the tongue, medium length finish, generous but always dry. Actually, it’s really only medium weight, now I think about it. Not much development yet though, so another decade in cellar will only add to the experience.

Wow! Tastes like Chablis, incredible minerality and tight, crisp palate. Showing notes of lemon zest, wet stone, and floral notes. Fantastic wine, would be a dead ringer for Chablis in a bling tasting.
Body: Medium- Acidity: High Typicity: Low

A lovely young Vat 47. Plenty of depth, nice line of acidity and some toastines building. Can see it developing nicely from here. The only question is the QPR

Great length, good balance, not as intense as expected, but beautiful drinking now
