see note dated 5/7/2011 this is still beautiful! lovely fruit, soft and velvety, big and round. an incredible buy at $10, of course i've been sitting on it since 11/18/2006 so i've got some investment in it, but it is was well worth it.

Wow! On the sweet side but perfectly balanced and for as long as the wine sat in the barrel, ere is almost no oak in the flavor. The label has said it perfectly, fresh, floral Chenin Blanc with crisp acidity and rich concentration.

if you have a bottle of this inexpensive little gem and you're wondering if you've waited too long, let me help you. NO! this was good a few years ago but it's wonderful now. the nose is petrol, nectarine, honey and toast. on the palate it's big and velvety. did i say BIG? it's round and full and luscious, with flavors of honey, nectarine, and straw. it's absolutely beautiful. i'm glad i have 1 more bottle.

Nose of canned peaches and white flowers. Palate has taken a glycerin turn. Sweetness out of balance with the acidity. A touch cloying. Sadly, I left this way too long. A couple of years ago, this was way better.

Clear, pale lemon wine with low intensity aromas of herbaceousness, slight flower and subtle lanolin notes. In the mouth there is acidity and flavours of apple, perhaps some slight spice and hints of honey that carries on the medium plus finish. Very good.
