Loaded, vibrant and overall stunning riesling. Petrol laced full body palate is oozing with abundance of fruit, outstanding richness, concentration and length. While this isn't exactly a complex wine, it is enormously delicious and satisfying. Super lovely!

Same as my previous notes: Green apple and lime fruit, quite sweet but with good acidity to control it. Very enjoyable if you like German Rieslings and I do.

MNB: Riesling and RS: (blind) Pale yellow. Reductive nose with slight petrol. 30g/l (actually 63g), 9% alcohol (actually 9.5%). Lean palate - shows a bit of development, but not a lot of fruit.
Based on the leanness, and RS and alcohol, this could be: - Spatlese - Mosel, 2013
Actual: 2016 felton road bannockburn riesling Interesting - it's a more german style than Alsace, which is not what I mainly encountered in the Kumeu area. It seems the South Island tends sweeter/German and the north island is more dry / Alsace?

I really enjoyed this one. Definitely on the sweeter side, but overall good fruit and acid balance, great clarity. Perfect summer sipper.

Lacked any of the lime texture and was very much sweeter on palate despite advice that it was dry finish
