Crystal clear with a tinge of straw, nose has a light pear with very light petrol note. Bone dry with vita C acid, gooseberries, green apples. A touch of stony mineral on the finish.

From a bottle opened last night - while I have had the Richard's Cuvee and Durant bottlings on multiple occasions, this is my first time trying their entry-level release.
Nice citric note on the nose, and you get a little of that matchstick note that is more pronounced on the Richard's Cuvee.
Decent acidity that lifts the fruit, but this comes across as a little dilute. Good QPR, but for my money, it is worth the additional $$ to step up to the Durant or the Richard's.

Nose shows pear, white peach and some creamy oak notes. The palate is fresh and vibrant; medium- bodied. Much more citrus zingy fruit on the palate really nicely integrated with the oak. Finishes with a nice lemony burst. This will only get better with a little time in the bottle.

Lovely nose of matchstick, white pear and granite. Still young and tightly coiled with strong matchstick on the palate, but with excellent acidity and balance. This should improve with some age.

Waxy, oily, hit of wood. Stone pear minerality. Didn't pull it all together for me
