Beautiful wine. So elegant, light, with a lovely long finish. Should get better with time but I just had to try it. First time trying this producer and undoubtedly his work is outstanding. That said, I’m not sure this is worth the price of $186 which was supposedly on sale. Truth be told, my expectation of a $200 bottle of wine is a lot more concentration and depth than offers.

Bright and pale red. Very elegant and cool aromas of red fruit, white pepper- stem in evidence here. Satin mouthfeel, lush, pliant and elegant - Fourrier's signature here. Very chambolle- an elegant wine with good complexity and lenght, that can be drunk now and will improve over time. Top quality.

Tart cherry, spicy-herbaceous, touch of fruit sweetness emerging with airtime, but overall a lighter-bodied wine on the dry side. A glass that wants airtime and a hearty meal, this played well with seared beef.

A Birthday Celebration (Taste 222 - Chicago IL): Magnum, Candied red cherry on nose and palate with subtle spice. Good enough weight, certainly better length. So much richness here, just showing so much baby fat that needs to soften and burn off. Good now, but i'd consider it 88-89 points, but so much potential 2025-, 90+ points.

La Paulée de New York - The Verticals (Eventi Hotel - New York NY): Walk around tasting. Biggest of the trio, balance is starting to emerge, much better now than when last tasted in 2019. 91-92 points, better 2025 forward.
