Double decanted. Different from the magnum that the lightness is more evident here. Classic Fourrier aromatics, but if Clos Vougeot fails to carry the structure this will even more so. 91

Magnum, decanted and blind. Purple fruit to start turning into signature Fourrier spice. Hard to place the terroir, definitely not Gevrey blue fruit, sweet and lighter. Fourrier Chambolle 2007? Really lovely juice, if not as sweet/compact as the actual 17 Chambolle drank a few weeks ago. 93

Needed 30mins air to blow off the CO2 and balance the acidity. Very high toned for a Vougeot. Similarly generous but more depth and material than the Gevrey VV '17. Glad to have more

Super earthy red fruit aroma — has that typical Pinot smell but is extremely complex — with notes of smoky cherry, currants and tangerine? Very flavorful, notes of earth, red and black cherry and cranberry. Black cherry and black currant finish. Well balanced. Fantastic!

A bit darker than typical Fourrier but so, so pretty.
