This was very good, full bodied with mild tannins. I could tast the black cherries, blueberries and a hint of currant. Lightly smoked very mellow , will try to find more a great time to drink if you have some.

PnP. Clear, deep purple ruby. Proper, med intensity nose. Med to full body, long finish, soft and rich, slightly extracted. Dark fruit and very decent for the price point. Good porch pounder. Nothing off. $29.

Although this is not my kind of wine, I enjoyed it. Fully saturated blueberry colors, clear edges. Nose of candied fruits, anise, and pencil shavings. Perfectly harmonized fruit and acid, with tannins fully resolved. An excellent match for grilled steak, gnocchi with mustard cream sauce, and a garnish of zucchini with tomatoes.

Vey enjoyable merlot. A brick (ruby) colored wine with a mineral and currant aroma combined with a little black fruit. A leathery rounded medium finish with flavors of bark, blackberry-raisin and flint actually give the wine a "stand-up" attitude. Dinking very well now with about 3 more years available, after that you are on your own.

Received this as a gift and thoroughly enjoyed with Christmas dinner; spiral ham, broccoli casserole and scalloped potatoes.
