  Clear dark red color with some thinning at the rim. Nose of black pepper, dried herbs, cured olives, flowers, and brine. On the palate, the black pepper dominates with the secondary impression of herb-cured olives with a spicy blackberry background. Fruit tannins still dominate the moderate finish. This is truly a wine that will last for a long time. No estimate on maturity, but drinkable now and in a good balance until that tannin attack at the end.
