Great eathy tones of cherry, rhubarb, and a little barnyard action. Medium to full bodoed on the palate. Similar flavors come through on the palate that are intense yet in balance with each other. Dry and moderately tannic on the finish. ($12)

Consistent with previous note, but really lacking structure this time around. To be fair I don't drink a lot of Cahors, and this bottle didn't get much of a chance to develop with air. But it did nothing for me and was just another in a long line of disappointing 2003s.

The drinking window was 2005-2009. This bottle was fantastic in 2023. Even from the super hot vintage of 2003. Cahors can age!

Had on bad night. Can't evaluate. Not encouraging however.
