My only bottle of this beauty. PnP and drunk with Chicken Barley soup. simply delicious wine. Crisp, fruity. Disappeared way too quickly. Drink or hold.

Rich tropical fruit mixing with pepper and stone on the nose, with air - more fresher lemon notes as well. Palate is ripe but saturated with grapefruit pith and zest, along with notes of dry pineapple and mango. Long zesty and chalky finish, deep and quite complex - has years to go.

Agree with some of the previous reviewers. Not only does Mike O's whites need some age, they also need some air. Initially tight with lemon and citrus notes, over the next hour (and as it warmed) this opened up to beautiful peach and mineral flavors with a marked creaminess. OK - so this is a Cali Gruner - but I can do without the high acid and minerality of Austrians. This was delightful and could still use a couple years in a well preserved state. 90+

Nose of peach, grapefruit, lime and chamomile. Melon, stone fruit, honey and citrus on the palate. Long, soft finish. Well balanced. Served with chicken and biscuits.

Nice GruVee. Could use a bit more brightness and verve to compete with the Austrians.
